How does automatic renewal work?

Eligible items will renew automatically three days before their due date for the full loan period.

You will receive a notification via email or text if an eligible item has been renewed.

Notification is only available via email or text. Be sure we have your updated information in our system.

You will still be able to renew eligible items at anytime at bccls.org or at any BCCLS library.

Items ineligible for automatic renewal include:

The item has already reached its renewal limit

The item is on hold for another patron

Your Library card has expired

You owe $10 or more in fines

You have ten or more items overdue
